Language
Kiswahili and English are Tanzania’s official languages. Although most people in the cities and towns speak some English, a few phrases of Kiswahili are useful in more rural areas.

This is a malarial country. You also need a yellow fever certificate.
Best times to go
Tanzania’s dry seasons are from about end December to mid-March and June to October. Wildlife viewing tends to be best at these times, though see specific advice for different reserves.

Tanzania has got many spots that attract a lot of tourist every year, granting some of the most amazing spots in the African continent. The neighbour country Kenya has got the Maasai Mara and Nairobi National Park. Next to the Kenyan border we find the best spots to visit in Tanzania, which are suitable for vacations and safari tours. There are plenty of species that we can observe in this natural zone and in the game reserves. Tanzania is one of the most rewarding places we can visit in Africa.
We need many days just to visit the most famous spots in the country, one of which is the Serengeti National Park. Near this reserve we find the Mount Kilimanjaro, which reserve encompasses many other smaller conservation areas including the Maasai Mara’s reserve.
From hills to grasslands we find both varied landscapes and bustling wildlife in this park. Home for the Big Five we will never regret to spend some days in the Serengueti. One of the most amazing natural events is the great zebra migration that takes place once per year.
Another spot in Tanzania is the Ngorongoro Conservation Area which is centred in the Ngorongoro Crater. Mt. Kilimanjaro is at the same time a formidable place for climbing and a spot with great safari opportunities.
Other two spots that we will visit in a several day safari are the Selous Game Reserve and Ruaha National Park on the southern part of the country and to the west the Gombe Stream National Park and Mahale Mountains National Park, where the chimpanzees live in the forest.
